If there is someone who declares he is the only authority of the Bujinkan in his country, you shouldn’t believe it. I know Soke is the last person to allow anyone to create a dictatorship. Please don’t forget that every Shidoshi is considered a direct student of Soke, and note that it is because Soke doesn’t want any dictators in the Bujinkan.

2009 Oct. 25th

I’m adding the following for all the Buyu in similar situations. This information has to be widely spread.

A certain guy in Europe (I won’t name him here) has started an organization and is insisting the following things -

1) The organization is the only authority of the Bujinkan in his country.

2) Soke is the Honorary President of it.

3) The guy studied Gikan-ryu from Soke.

So I asked Soke about these things today, and his answer was “No!” to all the three. I think Soke was angry.

The conclusion is, if you find someone like this, you just have to ignore what he says. You have no need to follow him or leave the Bujinkan.

Oct. 7th

Bujinkan certificates are issued only by the Bujinkan Hombu Office. But some “instructors” issue their own certificates. Soke considers it a fraud if the name “Bujinkan” is used in their certificates. We have some photos of a few examples from different countries. Please be careful not to be involved with such a crime.
